Etsy Mainpage, again!

Wow!  Again!  I'm speechless :D    And ecstatic. And thrilled.  And a little overwhelmed XD

One of the unexpected benefits of having one of my henna hair colors on the main page is I get to introduce henna to SO many people who never knew that option existed before!  There's a LOT of explaining to do, which makes me want to wrap up the henna e-book I've been working on all the more.

But, my lovely customers, I've re-activated the 15% off coupon code through Sept 20th!

Enter MAINPAGE at checkout as a thank-you from me for all your support!

Featured on the Main Page of Etsy

NightBlooming Fire Genasi Hair Color Featured on the Main Page of Etsy!

Earlier today I checked my Etsy store and all was normal; there was a convo or two to respond to, a few people had favorited a couple items, and there was an item that had sold out that needed relisting.

I checked back a few minutes later to find that my store had been hit by a tsunami of traffic, favorites, followers and sales.  Confused, I refreshed it and found even more.  F5 again and there was MORE.

Almost daring not to hope, I clicked to the main page of Etsy and there was my Fire Genasi Henna Hair Color, featured first item on the main page!  I've been on Etsy since April of 2007 and this was my first item ever to actually make it to the main page.

Copper Culture
Items make the main page of Etsy after someone curates them into a Treasury.  You can read a bit more about the entire process here, but here's the treasury that my item was curated into a few days ago:

About an hour later I got this spiffy email from Etsy:

I'm sincerely elated.  Being on the main page makes me feel like a "real" Etsy seller, even though I've been around for years.

Coupon Code
So my sincere and deepest thanks to all my loyal customers and their amazing support.  You all, reading this, are the ones that got me here.  To that end enjoy 15% through Sunday September 15th with the coupon code:

Introducing Safflower Oil & Amla-Infused Sesame Oil!

We're happy to bring you two new oils to try!

Safflower Oil-  also known as Carthamus tinctorius, functions as an emollient when applied topically, helping to keep skin and hair hydrated and moisturized. Safflower oil is a source naturally high in the vitamin E antioxidant, which helps reduce surface roughness.

Amla-Infused Sesame Oil- Amla oil has a long tradition in being used for improving the health of hair and scalp. It is one of the world's oldest natural hair conditioners. Our amla oil easily absorbs into, and moisturizes your hair. Amla has been traditionally used in ayurvedic medecine.

Both of these oils can be gotten as pure 1/32 ounce samples, or blended into a custom 1/2 ounce or 4 ounce blend!

NightBlooming Knight- Errant Summer Solstice Quest for the Renewed Birch Draped Barrette

And on the Solstice the Knights shall Ride!
A knight-errant is a figure of medieval chivalric romance literature. "Errant," meaning wandering or roving, indicating how the knight-errant would typically wander the land in search of adventures. NightBlooming has a quest for those that would dare to take it. Though a challenge, the reward is great!

As NightBlooming's signature style is well known to our customers, we're offering up this pair of a fork and a dangle finishing pin as a reward for the one who can unravel this riddle! The answer lies within one of my sold items, so the better you know NightBlooming’s work, the easier this may be.

You can see the full quest and enter here!

The Prize: Renewed Birch Draped Barrette
The birch is highly adaptive and able to sustain harsh conditions with casual indifference. Proof of this adaptability is seen in its easy and eager ability to repopulate areas damaged by forest fires or clearings. Bright and beautiful, the birch is a pioneer, courageously taking root and starting anew to revive the landscape where no other would before. Paradoxically, while the birch is a brilliant symbol of renewal, it is also symbolic of stability and structure. The druids also held the birch as the keepers of long-honored traditions. This barrette captures these meanings in one elegant design.

Built upon a silver French barrette, this piece beings with a brass leaf coated with a sparkling brown enamel. From each end of the leaf hangs golden chain and glass leaves that come to a point at an intricate metal Celtic knot. At the peak hangs a golden filigree leaf and a flashing blue-green leaf.

The Renewed Birch Draped Barrette has a clip length of 1.5 inches and a total length of 2.25 inches.

We'll do another quest for the Autumn Solstice! So even if you don't win please try again then :)

The Quest
Your Hint:
The Romans were fascinated by the unusual qualities of the delicate maidenhair fern when it is immersed in water; under water it glistens with a silvery sheen; but when removed, it is perfectly dry, for water will not cling to it. Because of these seemingly magic qualities, the maidenhair fern in Roman mythology was said to represent the hair of Venus when she arose from the foam of the sea, thus the name maidenhair. The plant’s Latin genus name Adiantum comes from the Greek words Adian-tum, meaning “unwetted”.

These sticks might just hold a bit of that magic.

The Question:
Praytell, how many droplets hang from the dangle on these sticks?  Enter here by replying with a convo!
